Josiassen and his colleagues (1982) concluded that persons at-risk for Huntington's Disease show greater variability on the WAIS and lowered subtest intercorrelations. Examination of the reported data and methodological considerations suggest that this conclusion is not warranted. New data are reported which are not consistent with the idea of attenuated WAIS subtest intercorrelations in at-risk subjects.
