LAMC2 modulates the acidity of microenvironments to promote invasion and migration of pancreatic cancer cells via regulating AKT-dependent NHE1 activity
2020, Experimental Cell ResearchCitation Excerpt :Laminins are a family of large molecular weight glycoproteins that accumulate mainly in the ECM of neuroretinal, skeletal or epithelial cells [5]. Electron microscope observation has revealed that these molecules are composed of an α-chain, a β-chain and a γ-chain, and they usually form a cross-shaped structure [6]. Laminin 5 is constructed exclusively out of the α3 (LAMA3), β3 (LAMB3) and γ2 (LAMC2) subunits.
