2020, GeneCitation Excerpt :TXNRD1 is a thioredoxin reductase, a key enzyme that regulates the intracellular redox environment, and plays an important role in cell proliferation (Gasdaska et al., 1995). TGFBR2 is a type II transforming growth factor-beta receptor belonging to the serine-threonine kinase family (Lin et al., 1992). TGFBR2 mediates many of the activities of TGF-beta in regulating cell proliferation, differentiation, and extracellular matrix production.
