PAC/BAC clones for FISH. The chromosomal localisation and the relative order of the clones is deduced from the Draft Human Genome Sequence/Map Viewer (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/) from the NCBI FISH clone map (cytogenetic) and from our own mapping data.12 Clones 1 and 2 were isolated from a PAC library obtained by P de Jong (Buffalo, USA) and clones 3–10 were obtained from the German Resource Centre (RZPD, Berlin; BAC library RPCIB753)
