Donsante A, Tang J, Godwin SC, Holmes CS, Goldstein DS, Bassuk A, Kaler SG. Differences in ATP7A gene expression underlie intrafamilial variability in Menkes disease/occipital horn syndrome. J Med Genet 2007;44:492–497.

The journal apologises for an error that occurred in this paper on page 496, in the figure 3 caption, which should read as follows:

(B) Timed growth assay. The mean percent growth in copper/iron-limited media of ccc2{Delta} transformed with S637L and A1362D, compared with ccc2{Delta} transformed with wild-type ATP7A, was 73% and 17%, respectively. The mock-transformed ccc2{Delta} strain (quadrant 1) failed to grow.
